The VOLTA 9.2 single rope offers the lightness needed by climbers and mountaineers. It features Duratec Dry treatment to increase longevity and performance in all conditions.

Features:

  • Ultralight rope for high-level climbing or mountaineering:
    • Very good diameter/lightness ratio.
    • Compact in the rope bag.
    • Enhanced durability thanks to Duratec Dry treatment.
    • UltraSonic Finish: At the end of the rope, the core and sheath are bonded together by an ultrasonic finish called UltraSonic Finish. This provides greater durability and prevents the end of the rope from fraying.
  • Comfort of use:
    • Flexible rope that facilitates coiling, managing loops, and feeding rope into belay devices.
    • EverFlex treatment: Specific thermal treatment that stabilizes the strands and makes the rope more homogeneous. It provides excellent grip and consistent handling over time.
    • Duratec Dry treatment for use on rock, mixed terrain, snow, or ice: Water-repellent treatment that makes the rope more resistant to water, dirt, and abrasion. Handling, grip, and characteristics are preserved longer, even in cold and wet conditions.
  • ClimbReady coiling: Specific coiling so that the rope is always ready for use. It prevents incorrect uncoiling by the user and increases longevity.
  • Grip that facilitates handling:
    • 40-strand grip for greater control.
    • Middle Mark: Indicates the middle of the rope to facilitate maneuvers.
