Description:

This triage card will help us classify and collect patient information in the event of a mass casualty incident (MCI). These triage cards use colors to identify the priority of each patient: red for first priority patients, yellow for second priority, green for third priority, and black to indicate a deceased patient with no priority.

Each card should contain, as far as possible, the following data within the classification to help with identification:

Patient's name and address.

• Age and sex.
• Mark injured areas on a diagram.
• Record medication administration, routes, and time.
• Write the name of the person performing the TRIAGE.

Additionally, the cards have a number in their corners for better identification throughout the response and classification of a Mass Casualty Incident.
