Description:

Pulmonary ventilator for critically ill neonate, pediatric, and adult patients, model AVEA, electrically and pneumatically powered, with an internal scroll pump compressor. It features a built-in 12" color touch screen for displaying control parameters, alarms, and monitoring, as well as ventilation curves and lung mechanics. It is a microprocessor-controlled unit, with an integrated air and oxygen mixer from 21 to 100%, and includes, among others, the following ventilation modes:

• Assist-Control A/C (volume and pressure)
• Synchronized Intermittent Mandatory Ventilation (SIMV) (volume and and pressure) with or without pressure support
• Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) with or without pressure support.
• APRV (Airway Pressure Release Ventilation)
• Non-Invasive Ventilation for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
• Time-cycled, continuous flow, pressure-limited ventilation for newborns
