Description:

• The oil-free reciprocating compressor system is a tank-mounted design consisting of an oil-free reciprocating compressor and associated equipment, an ASME painted air receiver, and a wired control panel.
• The package must be provided with single-point connections for electrical, discharge air and condensate drainage.
• The only field connections required will be system discharge, power connection to the control panel, and condensate drain connection.
• All interconnecting piping and wiring must be included and operationally tested prior to shipment.

Oil-free reciprocating compressor pump:

• The oil-free reciprocating air compressor is a two-stage design with head unloaders to provide start/stop or continuous operation.
• The compressor pump is a completely oil-free design and requires absolutely no oil for operation.
• Composite piston technology, dual cooling fans, and continuous lubrication bearings provide oil-free, low maintenance, quality air.
• Pistons are manufactured from heat-rejecting composite resin with piston rings constructed from a PTFE material.
• Piston rings are rated for a minimum life of 10,000 operating hours.
• Each compressor will be equipped with a check valve. Each compressor unit must be capable of operating in continuous 145 psig service.

Air Receiver:

• The system includes an ASME rated air receiver, rated for 200 PSI MAWP.
• The tank must be equipped with a pressure gauge, safety relief valve, discharge shut-off valve, and a manual condensate drain.

Starter / Control Panel:

• The system must include a UL listed magnetic starter in a NEMA 1 enclosure with 3-leg overload protection and an hour meter.

AfterCoolers:

• Beltguard mounted aftercoolers are provided for each compressor and sized for a 15-degree F approach temperature.
• Units are constructed with copper tubes with metal headers.
