Description:
The I'D L self-braking descender is mainly intended for rescue operations. It features an ergonomic handle that allows comfortable control of the descent. The integrated anti-panic function and the error indicator cam limit the risk of accidents in case of improper use. The AUTO-LOCK system allows the user to stop without having to manipulate the handle or tie off the rope.

- AUTO-LOCK system allows the user to stop without having to manipulate the handle or tie off the rope: as soon as the user releases the handle, the rope is automatically locked in the device. The automatic return of the handle limits the risk of accidental snagging.
- Automatic transition of the handle to the storage position when the rope is removed from the device, which reduces the risk of accidental snagging when the descender is carried on the harness.
- Versatile use:
- Once locked, the rope can be retrieved without manipulating the handle, allowing a hauling system to be converted to reversible mode or short rope ascents to be performed easily.
- Cam can be manipulated to easily retrieve rope or belay a lead climber using climbing techniques.
- Screw allows the movable side plate to be locked to integrate the I'D L into rescue kits.
- Possibility of adding an additional brake, open or closed, for better descent control depending on the load and rope diameter.
- Protective reinforcement, made of stainless steel in the rope friction area, which increases wear resistance.
