Flexible F.O. laryngoscope blades for difficult intubations

The flexible FlexTip+ (F.O.) blade is a Macintosh blade with an angulable distal tip (up to 70°). When the blade is inserted, the epiglottis is lifted. This frees the view of the laryngeal inlet and the vocal cords. Excessive pressure on the upper teeth, tongue, and pharyngeal area is avoided.
