Flexible F.O. laryngoscope blades for difficult intubations

The flexible FlexTip+ (F.O.) blade is a Macintosh blade with a distally angulable tip (up to 70°). When the blade is inserted, the epiglottis is lifted. This clears the view of the laryngeal inlet and the vocal cords, preventing excessive pressure on the upper teeth, tongue, and pharyngeal area.
