Retractable fifth wheel with pneumatic suspension for better handling
Smooth ride
The retractable fifth wheel makes it easier to drive the Sprint 100 over uneven surfaces and obstacles, such as elevator entrances and thresholds. This feature is crucial not only for the patient's comfort, but also for their safety, reducing, for example, the risk of spinal injury. The wheel is equipped with a shock absorber for impact absorption and its 200 mm diameter allows it to overcome obstacles more easily.
Compatibility
To make the Sprint 100 fully compatible with various medical equipment, such as C-arms and X-ray devices, the 5th wheel can be easily deployed and retracted. By simply pushing the pedal, the wheel retracts into the lower chassis of the stretcher to make room for any type of equipment.

While standard IV poles can break when used to push a stretcher, the Sprint 100's telescopic IV poles feature a special solid design that reduces maintenance costs, facilitates staff work and allows the stretcher to be pushed at a low height for greater patient safety.
