Características:

- El microcontrolador detecta errores de tensión baja y alta. En caso de que el rotor gire de forma desequilibrada, se muestre el mensaje EQUILIBRAR CARGA parando automáticamente.
- La tapa la cuál impide el funcionamiento de el aparato si esta abierta, incluye un mecanismo de cierre utilizando las normas BVG-7z (GERMAN ACCIDENT PREVENTION REGULATION ) y DIN 58970. Después de terminado el tiempo de centrifugado, la tapa queda liberada, La cámara de centrifugación es de acero inoxidable.
- El motor es trifásico y esta montado con cojines auto lubricados que no requieren cuidado especial.
- La centrifuga J -40 es una de las centrifugas mas versátiles de su clase dada la posibilidad de intercambiar rotores de ángulo fijo y oscilante de fácil instalación, los cuales cuentan con distintos accesorios que permiten centrifugar contenedores de diversos volúmenes; como por ejemplo volúmenes relativamente grandes de orina y de otros líquidos corporales.
